MOP has reached out to Environment Canada to offer our assistance with the clean up operations resulting from today's train derailment in Lac-Magantic.
We do not know the extent of the spill, or the current conditions at the accident site, but are ready to respond with the product we have available in Bath.

Here's hoping they accept your offer. Would be good for them and Mopn. Great to see you are responding with offers of help where MOP could be of great assistance. Keep up the good work.
The oil is now heading for the river. They need MOP booms FAST!!!
'Wallystone', thank you for your words of encouragement. I apologize for the delay in responding but we are working through new site development and some comments have not come through in a timely fashion. We had tried to reach Environment Canada regarding the tragic events in Lac-Magantic but never had a response. We will continue to reach out when situations like this arise, no matter where they occur.
Until we have the new MOP site up and functioning, please feel free to contact me directly at the email address I have provided.
Thank you.
