Sounds like great news. If you have time, maybe not only post the news on Facebook, that is where I first read it, but also on the yahoo and ihub message boards. Posting is easy and would be FREE advertising. Keep up the good work and really appreciate your updates.
Thank you again for your kind words. We are taking baby steps right now and will roll out future updates over a variety of media. Right now the primary focus is on getting product made and shipped. There has been tremendous interest in the 'new' MOP. Please continue to share your thoughts, comments and suggestions.
JER,
As a longterm investor in MOPN, let me say that news of production and sales is very good to hear. I've always thought the oil-change industry (e.g. Valvoline and Jiffy Lube) would love to have bags of MOP on hand to spread on their oil-change bay floors, where the oil goes..., so it could be swept up and simply thrown away. The special properties of MOP leave a gritty surface that can be safely walked on immediately after clean-up, making it superior to sand or Oil-Dri (clay products), because it absorbs more and is also 100% green. Last idea, is that maintenance crews who work on those large white windmills you now see across the Mid-west (eastern Indiana for example). Those crews enter the top of the windmill and routinely work underneath the turbine which splash and drips lubricating oil all over their workspace. Storing a few 50lbs bags of MOP in each windmill would give maintenance crews an easy way to clean their workspace and maintain a high degree of safety while doing so. And oil-soaked MOP could be swept out of the workspace very easily. Hope these ideas help!
Another option is to have all first-responders that deal with oil spills carry MOP products as part of their cleanup process. Mop's Marketing and/or Promotional department could ship out 1-2 lb. "sample sizes" for cities as well as companies to test prior to committing to ordering products. With attractive, informative promotional brochures explaining the benefits of MOP you can get product in a timely manner into the right hands on a large scale. I think MOP could get a very nice ROI from this.
RCP,
Thank you for your note. First Responders/HazMat teams are definitely a market that we intend on pursuing. JPO Absorbents already has a pretty good foothold in that market and we plan on piggybacking on those relationships to get MOP in as well. We are looking at the best way to package MOP for that market based on our production capacities and specifications.
We appreciate you reaching out to us and please, feel free to do so at any time.
Regards
Jim
